We supported Peace Day with visual identity (logos, colors, etc.) as well as branding (creating a deck for funders) & ultimately envisioned/creative-directed a new initiative called "United Voices of Peace," which positions young storytellers as the official ambassadors of Peace Day. including live performances, video content, and an innovative zine sponsored by TOMS that serves as an activism toolkit by youth for the world. You can see Get Lit's youth perform at the General Assembly in New York this September and find the zine in all TOMS stores this Fall.
Veronika supervises storytelling at Wondros, a production company and creative agency where "storytelling meets strategy." We custom-craft campaigns and tools to inspire passion, incite action, and propel change. Clients include the Open Society Foundation, PETA, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harvard, ONE, Mario Testino, Pacific Standard Time, & more.
For four years, Veronika led communications & content for Get Lit, a world-renowned arts organization for young poets & writers in California. She grew Get Lit's social media following; helped launch their content online, which resulted in over 300 million views worldwide; & supported Get Lit in launching Literary Riot, an original content studio and incubator by youth for the world that connects young people with creative opportunities. "No more starving artists. Just artists."
After Veronika had a sold-out play produced with the Eastside Queer Stories Festival, she was commissioned to edit their anthology and support them with graphic design and social outreach.
We supported INTO ACTION, a celebration of one year of the resistance (curated by Yosi Sergant, creator of Obama's HOPE campaign) with branding, copywriting, editing, and art direction. The event, a ten-day installation with over 200 renowned artists, filled a giant warehouse in Chinatown with art, guests, panels, and ruckus musical performances.
We served as social scribe for Ted, where we took photographs and live-tweeted each panel, distilling complex stories into succinct and powerful moments.
We edited Get Lit Rising in collaboration with the in-house editors at Simon & Schuster over the course of 6 months phrasing, framing, capturing, wording, re-wording, polishing, proofreading, and...eventually...publishing.
Strategic Imaging is one of the world's leading branding firms, having worked largely with Olympic teams and other global brands. For them we wrote copy, generated client-facing blog posts, and launched diverse social media pages for clients.
One Vote at a Time is an organization founded to create meaningful and effective campaign videos for progressive candidates at no cost. We supported with branding/messaging, art direction, and styling. One Vote was largely responsible for the 2017 sweeping Democratic victories in Virginia.
